DR. JESSICA WU COSMECEUTICALS

Objective:
To develop the brand identity and package graphics for a prestige skin care line created by Dr. Jessica Wu, the highly regarded, Harvard-educated dermatologist practicing in Los Angeles. The brand, which fuses "Western science with Asian wisdom", was launched in Fred Siegal and Nordstrom stores.

Design Solution:
The new brand symbol integrates a flask and water drop -- representing Western science-- with the Lotus flower -- representing Eastern tradition and beauty. The overall Chinese red is intense and attention getting. Aimed to appeal to aging baby boomers, the overall imagery is simple and minimalistic, yet timely and sensuous.
